Audi


The project of the first utilitarian sport Audi was begun in 2002, under the code AU 716. In the beginning of 2003, the first prototype would be shown in the Living room of Detroit, USA. Not by chance: the American market is the main consumer of SUVs and the objective of Audi, among other factories. The name of that prototype was Pikes Peak, in reference to the famous race in the ascent of the Rocky Mountains, in Colorado. Concluded in the end of 2005, the model it arrives now to the Brazilian market in only version, for R$ 379.950,00. Its competitors are BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz ML 500, everybody in that price strip.
The version offered here is she equipped with motor V8 of 4,2 liters and direct injection of fuel (FSI). He/she has potency of 350 cv to 6.800 rpm and powerful 44,5 kgfm of maximum torque to 3.500 rpm. Its package of series equipments is quite complete, remaining few items as optional. In Europe there are two other versions: one with motor V6 of 3,6 liters FSI, Monday with 3-litros TDI (diesel) of 6 cylinders.
With 5 meters in length (it weighs 2.165 kilos), he/she is 1,98 m of width and 3 entreeixos meters tall, the Q7 are quite comfortable and he/she treats its passengers very well. That utilitarian sport of 3 generation has the same system of traction quattro offered in the models RS4 and S8. In normal conditions, the central diferencial makes the torque division in 40% for the front axis and 60% for the behind–and you differentiate yourselves they are autobloqueantes and they cannot, to each other (esquerda/direita), to make divisions of the torque, in way to always guarantee adherence. The exchange is automatic, with possibility of operation seqüencial (for the lever or for the butterflies behind the steering wheel) and 6 marches.
The efficient suspension is independent in the four wheels, set up in sub-chassis, and in the same configuration ahead and in the back: arms triangular superpostos (built in aluminum), with bars estabilizadoras. Its springs are pneumatic and they allow that the height is regulated in relation to the soil by means of MMI, system multimídia of control of the functions of the vehicle. It is the same as it equips the A6–I model of which the Q7 inherited the drawing of the panel and interior. There are five operation manners: dynamic, for high-speed in asphalt (that besides improves the aerodynamic coefficient of the car, lowering of 0,37 for 0,34 and minimizing it drags); automatic; I comfort; off-road and “lift.” The free distance in relation to the soil can vary of 165 mm (dynamic way) up to 240 mm (lift, just used to overcome obstacles in it out-of-highway).
To the steering wheel the Q7 waste potency and he/she answers with vigor to the accelerator. Another item that consists of the list of optional is the automatic control of speed adaptativo. According to the factory, the Q7 are first Audi and the 1st utilitarian sport in the world to use that technology. Selected the cruzeiro speed (up to 200 km/h) for the lever in the direction column, and one of the four conduction programs for MMI, the system constantly monitors ahead the traffic by means of a small radar set up in the front bumper. The distances are exhibited in the screen placed in the panel and the radar has reach of 180 meters. For that apparatus he/she pays himself R$ 12.360,00.
There is, also, the system of lateral attendance, that applies similar radar technology. The assistant is destined in the strip changes. Using radar with reach of 50 meters, he/she notices the presence of another vehicle and it alerts the driver by means of LEDs (issuing diodes of light) in the external retrovisores. Also offered as optional, it costs R$ 3.900,00. Added the three apparatuses of aid to the safety, the price of the Q7 arises for R$ 399.620,00.
Of series the Q7 bring sound system BOSE with 14 speakers and play-cd with capacity for 6 disks; airbags for driver and passenger, lateral and type curtains; air conditioning with 4 resfriamento zones and opening of the electric trunk, with height regulável. There is lights bixenônio with fachos you addressed (they accompany the movement of the steering wheel in the curves) and solar roof in two sections, just opening up the front. Also as optional hook of towing escamoteável is offered with electric acionamento.
